Fourth of July!!!
We had a fantastic Fourth of July celebration at Bay View Gardens with our community and our residents. We organized a cookout, bonfire, and fireworks, which provided a wonderful opportunity to unite our residents for a fun and festive evening. The tasty food, crackling bonfire, and spectacular fireworks created lasting memories for everyone. We are grateful for the chance to foster a sense of community and joy for our residents. We are excited to announce that our residents here at Bay View Gardens recently had the opportunity to express their creativity and artistic talents by painting on canvas! This was a wonderful opportunity for everyone to come together and enjoy a fun and relaxing activity while also showcasing their unique personalities through their artwork. We were truly amazed by the beautiful and diverse pieces that were created, and we are proud to have such talented individuals as part of our community. Eclipse 2024!!
Hello everyone, I am excited to share my experience with you all. Yesterday, we had a chance to witness a rare phenomenon, the eclipse, with our residents. The whole atmosphere was illuminated with the sight of the moon covering the sun, making the sky darker. The residents were extremely thrilled and amazed to witness the event, and it was great to see their enthusiasm for science and astronomy. I was wondering if anyone else got to witness this spectacular moment?
Easter Egg Hunt!
I am happy to share with you that we recently hosted an Easter egg hunt at our facility, and it turned out to be a great success! The residents had a fantastic time watching the kids search for eggs and discover the treats inside. The staff did a remarkable job of hiding the eggs in creative places, and it was heartwarming to see the residents' faces light up with joy and laughter during the event. Easter egg hunts are an excellent way to bring people together and create memories. We are already looking forward to next year's event!

Not only is it fun, but crafting can also be therapeutic and help our residents unwind while feeling a sense of achievement. Hey everyone! Today, we organized a fun activity for our lovely residents. We offered them a relaxing manicure session, and it was a huge success! It was truly heartwarming to see their faces light up as we pampered them and listened to their stories. Look who made a surprise visit last night to scope out the building before our Saturday Egg Hunt!!! We are thrilled to announce that the Easter Bunny will visit Bay View Gardens soon! Please mark your calendars for April 6th from 2 to 4 pm and join us for this special occasion. There will be plenty of opportunities to take photos with the Bunny, so don't forget to bring your cameras! Additionally, we have planned a variety of fun Easter activities for children of all ages, including face painting, an Easter egg hunt, cookies, and punch. The Luck of the Irish
Recently, at Bay View Gardens, we had a wonderful celebration of St. Patrick's Day. Our festive afternoon began with a happy hour where we enjoyed some wine and green beer while listening to lively Irish jigs. Later on, we danced the evening away and concluded the festivity with a delicious meal consisting of mouthwatering corned beef, cabbage, potatoes, and carrots. For dessert, we had a green cake that was simply delightful!
Fresh Baked Bay View Gardens Treats
Baking has become a regular activity at Bay View Gardens for our residents. Not only do they enjoy the delicious treats they make, but they also love the social aspect of baking together. They share recipes, tips, and stories while they work, and it is heartwarming to see how much they support each other.
One resident, Teresa, mentioned that baking has been her passion for years, and she did not plan to give it up when she moved to assisted living. At Bay View Gardens, our caregivers encouraged her to share her experience and recipes with everyone. Now, she's still doing what she loves and finding others to share it with. Hi, Everyone; we can't wait to get back out fishing soon! There's just something about being out on the water, surrounded by nature, and casting a line that feels so peaceful and relaxing. It's been a while since we've been able to go, but we're looking forward to planning another trip soon. At Bay View Gardens, we always strive to meet the social needs of our wonderful residents. Last week, we had the pleasure of taking some of our residents to Saganing Eagles Landing Casino, and it turned out to be a fantastic experience. Do you want to know how they handled the noise and excitement? They enjoyed every bit of it. We played classic games like blackjack and roulette, but the slots were the hot spot! Seeing our residents having a great time and getting involved in the games was amazing. The casino staff were extremely accommodating, ensuring everyone was comfortable and had everything they needed. Overall, it was a fun and memorable day. If you become a part of the Bay View Gardens community, you, too, can enjoy such experiences in the future.

National Wine Day!
On Sunday, the 18th, we celebrated National Wine Day at Bay View Gardens! How did we celebrate!?! With a Wine and Cheese Party, of course! Local wines and handmade treats for our residents and staff to enjoy!! Thanks to our fantastic staff for helping make it happen. Come down and enjoy yourself with us next time!!

If you know Jim, you can tell that he loves to work. He expresses his desire to return to work every day. Recently, we helped him take down some Christmas lights, and this week, we assisted him with a little HVAC work. Jim was delighted to be using his hands for work again. Throughout the entire process, he shared stories about the various times things went wrong at his house and how much he enjoyed being able to fix them. At Bay View Gardens, we take pride in seeing our residents retain and regain their independence. We invite you to come and speak with Jim about his projects.
